Forrest Poston
I'm a hard-core idealist tempered by cynicism (an opti-pest), a teacher from the inside out, and the bane of administrators with latent insecurities. Although not currently employed as a teacher, I have 13 years of experience teaching college English, especially composition.
In addition to writing for Suite 101 and my own site, I have an antiques/collectibles business online and set up at some shows. I have been working with antiques since 1991 and built the antiques site and writing/education site myself.
While my primary subjects usually fall into the education or antiques categories, the question behind all of them is how to live, what it means to live better, to live as myself, to become and be an adult without forgetting that childhood teaches us much more than counting and ABC's.
